“WE’RE BASTARDS FOR OBI” – YORUBA OBIDIENTS TAUNT KINSMEN WHO CALL THEM BASTARDS FOR NOT SUPPORTING TINUBU
Omotayo Williams@Kaduna Resident and other Yoruba supporters of Mr Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi (Obidients) have caused a stir by taunting some of their tribalistic Yoruba kinsmen who referred to them as “ọmọ álẹ́” meaning Bastards, for supporting Obi, an Igbo man instead of a fellow Yoruba, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Recall that Afenifere under the leadership of Pa Ayo Adebanjo has been very vocal over its support for the Labour Party Presidential candidate notwithstanding Tinubu’s candidature, based on equity and competence.
Also, former President, Dr Olusegun Obasanjo is the promise of the promoter in chief of Peter Obi’s presidency.
Furthermore, Dr Doyin Okupe, an astute politician and medical doctor is the Director General of Peter Obi’s Campaign Organization. Yet, some Yorubas insist that “Yorubas must vote for Tinubu, regardless of doubts sorrounding his health status, his real identity, his academic qualifications, alleged criminal records, etc”
