Abuja: The Nigerian Labour Congress(NLC) has called out Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State as being “Anti (Nigerian) Workers”.
In his contribution on Monday morning, as guest on Good Morning Nigeria, NTA’s Current Affairs program, Comrade Ismail Bello, the Acting Secretary General of the NLC decried the Imo State Governor’s hostile disposition towards the NLC in particular and workers in the state generally.
“Governor Uzodinma is Anti workers. He doesnt even want to see our members.
“He locks up our (Imo) State office”.
Comrade Bello also complained of the “Anti Workers” policy of Governor Nasir El’ Rufai of Kaduna over his planned “sack of 5000 workers and unilaterally lowering retirement Age of workers in the state civil service to 50 years, in violation of extant laws”
