“UGWUANYI, YOU’RE THE BEST! GO FOR PRESIDENT” – ENUGU STATE FORUM OF PDP WARD CHAIRMEN
Enugu: The Enugu State Forum of PDP Ward Chairmen has joined the clamor for Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu State to run for the office of the President of Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Thursday by Ozo Ejike Okpe, the State Coordinating Chairman, the ward Chairmen equally commended Governor Ugwuanyi for being the first Governor in the state to include ward Chairmen in his Economic empowerment scheme.
The statement reads:
“For days on end, I and a number of PDP Ward Chairmen in Enugu State, who are part of the lucky 500 participants randomly selected from the pool of the 1600, (one thousand six hundred), beneficiaries of the *World Bank/Enugu State co-funded Women and Youth Empowerment Programme, (WYEP), anchored by Enugu Agro-Processing Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support, (APPEALS), have been receiving training on Socio Emotional Skills, (SES) preparatory to the disbursement of the World Bank/Enugu State women and youth empowerment grant.
The training, ongoing at the Masterskills Training Institute, Agbani, aims to equip the participants with requisite mastery of emotions for optimum productivity in business.
Recall that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, had, in an unprecedented move, facilitated the participation of Enugu State Ward Chairmen in the scheme, becoming the first Governor in Enugu State’s history to extend such magnanimity to any class of Ward Chairmen.
The Ward Chairmen in Enugu State will forever be grateful and appreciative of that uncommon gesture by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, the best Governor in Nigeria.The Governor Ugwuanyi, (Gburugburu), brand must be scaled up to the National stage.
That is a veritable panacea to Nigeria’s hydra-headed challenges.
