Lagos – The Labour Party, LP, Governorship candidate in Lagos State, Arc. Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour (GRV) has stated that the biggest land grabber in Lagos State was the President Elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his All Progressives Congress, APC cabal, not the Igbos.
GRV, as he is popularly called by his teeming supporters made the assertion this Thursday morning while speaking as a guest on AIT’s Kaakaki.
Responding to the propaganda that Igbos want to take over Lagos State, he said:
“The APC cabal is the biggest land grabber in Lagos, not the Igbos. You can ask the indigenes of Alimosho, Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry, etc”.
He went further to explain that people who lived in Lagos and paid their taxes in Lagos (Igbos) should not be shot at, harassed and cut with matchetes because they wanted to vote
“We have documented evidence of this genocide and Voter suppression and we presented that to the tribunal”.
On the need to have indigeneship in Lagos, he said: “Lagos people are very hospitable. It’s only in Lagos that you can have some one from Iragbiji, Osun being State Governor. You also have people from other parts of Yorubaland being Governor or being involved in politics
“IIndigenous Lagosians; the Dopemus, Cardosos, Rhodes-Vivour can’t go to Osun or Ondo or Ogun to participate in politics. Therefore, there should be a way of protecting the political interests of indigenous Lagosians”
