Despite the furore generated by his father’s attempts at de-marketing the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi, Ozonna, one of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s sons has expressed his support for Obi, who he described as “the best candidate”
Coming in the aftermath of his father, the Anambra State Governor’s scathing remarks about Obi, both, both on Channels TV and in a letter circulated yesterday on Facebook, rubbishing the investments Peter Obi made when he was Governor of the South-East state and going further to claim that Obi “was playing a game knowing fully well that he stands no chance to win the 2023 presidency”
Reacting to a Facebook post in which his father’s post and members of the Soludo family were referenced, Ozonna stated that he doesn’t want to be dragged into the debacle as he’s not an extension of anybody.
He added that thinks Peter Obi is the best presidential candidate even though his father’s public face-off with the Labour Presidential candidate has nothing to do with him (Ozonna).
