Today marks the 57th birthday anniversary of Sir Okechukwu Ambrose Ahiwe, the Abia State Gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) popularly known to friends and associates as Kikas.

Ahiwe, a practicing Catholic and Knight of St Mulumba (KSM) graduated from the prestigious University of Lagos with a degree in Political science. He also furthered to obtain his Master’s degree in Political science at Abia State University
Okey Ahiwe is a Nigerian entrepreneur, businessman, and politician, he was appointed as the Chief of Staff to the governor of Abia state in April 2022.
Before becoming the Chief of Staff, Okey Ahiwe served in the campaign council for Governorship elections in Abia state, he has also been part of the National sub-committees of PDP for the conduct of party primaries in the cross river & Oyo states.
Okey Ahiwe owns Ambrokah investments ltd & power trim Nigeria Limited, a sub-sector of the Oil & gas industry supporting major multinational oil firms. He served as the pioneer elected president of the most influential socio-cultural organization in the Ngwa board, the Ngwa Patriot’s Forum.
He is known for being calm and calculated, in his actions. He is equally sociable and a friend to all, ‘enyi ọha’
