Social Crusader and former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari on Twitter on his intention to appoint the embattled former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, Rtd as an Ambassador.
Sani queried the rationale behind the appointment of the Generals, who failed woefully in the war against Boko Haram and heightened insecurity under their Command as ambassadors.
“Ambassadorial;When you have failed in what you have been trained for how do you succeed in what you know nothing about?”
However, another Twitter user replied him

“As ambassadors, they will be restricted to making written speeches and shaking hands while staff do the jobs that require competence. Incompetent Army Generals can be unsong Ambassadorial heroes as postulated by Buhari.”
Hmm, its only in Nigeria that failure is rewarded.
