Awka – The atmosphere this afternoon in Awka, the Anambra State capital was electrified as Mr Peter Obi, the Presidential the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, made his triumphant entry into Eke Awka.
In a style entirely his own, the LP jinx breaking presidential hopeful had visited various markets across the country, in what he christened “Market storms”.
However, the Eke Awka market storm was symbolic as a homecoming. It also “shut up” naysayers, who claimed that he was unpopular in Anambra, his home state.
The crowd was livid with the kind of ecstasy exhibited by the Jews during Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
