The internet has gone haywire since the name of Dr Chimaroke Nnamani, former Enugu State Governor and serving Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP appeared in the Presidential campaign council list of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The list was contained in a press release issued on 23rd September, 2022 and signed by Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Secretary, APC Presidential campaign council. Senator Nnamani’s name was number 350 on the list.
Senator Nnamani, the leader of the Ebeano political family had recently spoke glowingly about Tinubu, who he referred to as the “most hardworking Nigerian politician”.
This has led to speculations that his inclusion on Tinubu’s campaign team may, after all, not be by mistake, despite his being a member of the PDP.
The Senator is expected to formally react to the interesting development soonest.
