OBI’S ENDORSEMENT: TINUBU,ATIKU CAN SEEK OTHER EX-PRESIDENTS’ ENDORSEMENT INSTEAD OF ATTACKING OBASANJO- SENATOR SHEHU SANI

Senator Shehu Sani, renowned activist who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber between 2011 and 2015 has advised Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP respectively to seek the endorsement of other Ex-Presidents instead of attacking Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo for endorsing Mr Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP.
in a tweet on his Twitter handle, advised other presidential candidates attacking Obasanjo to go look for endorsement by other former presidents, including Ordinary President of Berekete family on Human Rights Radio.

His tweet read thus: “Obasanjo has made his choice. He is entitled to his opinion. He should not be attacked. Those who can’t get his endorsement should seek that of Gowon, IBB or Abdulsallami; they are equally credible former military and political leaders. Ordinary President of Berekete is also available.”
Recall that following Obasanjo’s significant endorsement of Peter Obi for 2023 presidency, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Waziri Atiku Abubakar of APC and PDP respectively had criticised Obasanjo for endorsing Obi.
While Tinubu described Obasanjo’s endorsement of Obi as worthless, Atiku said it could not stop his victory in the February 25 presidential poll.
