NWIFURU MOURNS MRS ANASI, FORMER CLERK, EBONYI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

The Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has described the late former Clerk Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mrs Patricia Anasi, as a mother and a sister; one who anchored her life on God
Nwifuru, in a post on his verified Twitter account had kind words for the deceased, who worked with him for seven years as speaker of the state House of Assembly.
She was laid to rest at her country home at Uburu, Ohaozara LGA, Ebonyi State, last Saturday.
“I am still at a loss for words to describe our sister, mother and ‘my clerk’ of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mrs. Patricia Añasi, who has journeyed to the great beyond.
Patricia worked with me for 7 years at Ebonyi State House of Assembly as the Clerk of the House. For those years, she never complained of anything. She was always punctual, dedicated, respectful and hardworking. I was relaxed in the knowledge that she was there. My Clerk was contented with what ever God brought her way. She anchored her life on God. She prepared herself well. And this is one of the lessons I learnt from her life. It is good for one to prepare very well because on one knows when he or she will be called by God.
Yesterday, we were at Uburu to lay her mortal body to rest, because she is already in Heaven. I condole the immediate family and all of us, mourners. I enjoin her family to take consolation in the knowledge that their mother left many laudable legacies here on earth. Rest in peace, My Clerk. – #FON“
