Abuja: The Federal High Court Abuja on Monday adjourned Nnamdi Kanu’s case “sine die”. As such, the case stands adjourned indefinitely since no future date was designated for resumption of hearing.
The federal government had filed an appeal challenging the decision of the Court of Appeal on October 13, which discharged all remaining charges preferred against Nnamdi Kanu at the Supreme Court.
However, at the resumption of Kanu’s case on Monday, Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja, agreed with Kanu’s legal team that it lacks the jurisdiction to hear any further charge against the IPOB leader, considering the Court of Appeal’s verdict which discharged him recently.
