NIGERIAN KILLS WIFE IN USA, WHO ABUSED, EVICTED HIM FROM HER HOUSE AFTER SPONSORING HER EMIGRATION WITH THEIR KIDS
A Nigerian man, Hassan Teddy Adeyemo, has been arrested on a first-degree murder charge after he allegedly shot and killed his wife in east Orange County, Florida, the Sheriff’s Office said.
In a statement, the police said deputies responded to Taxiway Circle, which is in a residential area near the Conway neighborhood, about 7:20 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2023.
They arrived to find 43-year-old Nanchin Hassan Adeyemo, who had been shot. She was taken to an area hospital where she died. Detectives identified Adeyemo’s husband, 46-year-old Hassan Teddy Adeyemo, as a suspect in the killing.
In fact, he allegedly dialled 911 by himself after shooting her in the head, chest and leg, telling the police,” I just shot the biitch”
Adeyemo, a Nigerian Army officer from Ibadan had sponsored the emigration of his wife, from Bauchi State and four kids to the United States, in a bid to give them a better life about 15 years ago.
He kept sending his family money from Nigeria for their upkeep but his wife started hair plaiting as a hobby. Eventually, with the help her three daughters, the hobby blossomed into a money spinner.
About eight years ago, Adeyemo resigned from his job in the Nigerian Army to join his family in Florida, USA. He allegedly met a reversal of fortune. His wife had become rich and he had to make do with what he earned as a taxi driver.
She and the kids made life a living hell for the man, abusing and humiliating him serially. She told him categorically that they were no longer in the same social class.
Nanchin allegedly bought a bigger house and moved out with the kids and shut him out of the new house.
The last straw that broke the camel’s back was when she sent him a message on his 46th birthday on 24th August, 2023, after she sent by him a nasty birthday message,”Happy birthday, friend. We are better off as friends not lovers”. She then asked him to move out her old house too, that she wanted to sell it.
On that fateful day, 27th August, the kids asked him to buy some groceries for them. When he came with the groceries, the kids opened the gate for him and he entered the house. On learning that his estranged wife was in the bathroom, he walked in there and shot her
Hassan Adeyemo is being held without bail at the Orange County Jail.
