Enugu – The bus stand at Psychiatric Hospital,bus stop, New Haven, Enugu partially collapsed last Friday, barely a year after it’s construction by the Enugu Capital Development Authority (ECTDA).
The structure, from reliable sources just crumbled on its own, with some part of collapsing. Luckily, nobody was hurt by the debris.
According to Mr Ugochukwu Okafor, a bus driver plying that route, “Look at the bus stand they said they built with N10M, earlier this year. See the way it has collapsed. Thank God, nobody was hurt”
The prototype bus stands across Enugu metropolis were each allegedly built with N10M by the ECTDA with blocks and rods to replace the more eco friendly ones built by the Sullivan Chime administration.
