MERGING PDP WITH YOUNG, AGILE LP SUPPORTERS LIKE PUTTING FERRARI ENGINE IN A PEUGEOT CAR- SHEHU SANI

Former Federal legislator and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has suggested that a merger between the opposition parties, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party, LP, would not be suitable.

Sani made the suggestion on Thursday in a post on X.The former lawmaker likened the planned merger between PDP and LP to fixing a Ferrari engine into a Peugeot car.

There has been talks about a possible merger between the leading opposition parties, to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2027.
