LP FINGERS EL-RUFAI OVER KADUNA WOMEN LEADER’S ASSASSINATION
Labour Party, LP has stated that the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has questions to answer over the assassination of Mrs Victoria Chintex, a woman leader of the Party in the state, as the state’s Chief Security Officer (CSO).
According to a spokesman of LP Presidential Campaign Council and Nollywood icon, Barr. Kenneth Okonkwo, “the Kaduna State Governor, Malam El-Rufai should be held responsible for the death of the murdered LP women leader if the perpetrators were not apprehended immediately”
Barr. Okonkwo, while reacting to the gruesome murder in a tweet on his official Twitter handle, asserted that El-Rufai, as the Chief Security Officer of the State of Kaduna where the brutal murder took place, should be blamed for the assassination if the killers were not found and arrested. “The APC Governor of Kaduna State, El-Rufai, should be held responsible for her death as the CSO if the killers are not apprehended immediately,”
Condemning the assassination of the active woman leader of the Party in Kaura, Mrs Victoria Chintex, the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) said that it was politically motivated.
Also, the Chief Spokesperson of Labour Party PCC, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, while describing the leading female politician’s murder and the gun shot wound inflicted on her husband by the gunmen as painful and unfortunate, disclosed that Mrs. Chintex was shot to death in the presence of her husband at their residence in Kaura, by gunmen suspected to be assassins on Monday night.
In a statement made on Wednesday evening, the LP Chieftain said the Party‘s Presidential Campaign condemned the killing in its totality especially in the light of the fact that the deceased was known for her active role in politics.
Lamenting, Dr. Tanko said, “Her passing leaves her close family, as well as our Labour Party, in a terrible loss. She endures in our memories.
We call on security agencies not to leave any stones unturned towards identifying the perpetrators of this dastardly act and bringing them to book to serve as deterrents to other like-minded criminals or their masterminds.”
