INEC SHOULD HAVE TEST RUN BVAS IN NYSC ORIENTATION CAMPS, NOT USING ANAMBRA GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION AS MOCK ELECTION – IMAGWUE

Hon Jude Imagwue, Former Special Assistant on Youths to President Goodluck Jonathan has berated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for using the Anambra Governorship Election as a “Mock Election” to test the Bimodal Voters Analysis System (BVAS).

While speaking this morning as a guest on Kaakaki, AIT’s flagship current affairs program, Imagwue, a former President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) said, “In view of the prevalent security situation, especially the IPOB threat, it was wrong for INEC to have used such a critical election to test run a new technology, like BVAS.

“Instead, they should have conducted mock elections in the various NYSC orientation camps to test run the BVAS”
