The news making the rounds about Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State vowing to replace Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe in the Senate come 2023 because of the latter’s support for IPOB has indeed been discovered to be Fake News.
The poor grammar laced with errors gave the purveyors of fake News away easily.
However, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, Abia State Commissioner for Information confirmed the obvious by describing the said publication as Fake News.
The fake news trending online read thus: “I must replace Abaribe because he is supporting IPOB.
Speaking to news men in Umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu wondered why a Senator who took oath of allegiance will be supporting a terrorist organization.
If you check statistics, my Government has killed more IPOB members than any other State because I do not give chance to hoodlums who only want to destroy our country Nigeria.
