IKONNE WAS THE BEST GOVERNOR ABIA STATE NEVER HAD, HIS DEATH A TRAGIC LOSS -ISIGUZORO, OHANAEZE SCRIBE
Umuahia: The Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro has described the death of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP Governorship candidate in Abia State, Prof Uche Ikonne as “a very tragic loss” to Abia State.
The Ohanaeze scribe equally described Ikonne as “the best Governor Abia State never had”.
“ Prof Uche Eleazar Ikonne was a thoroughbred technocrat who had a credible roadmap for the advancement of Abia State as well as the requisite administrative competence coupled with personal discipline to turn around the fortunes of the state by effectively leveraging on the foundation already laid by the incumbent state Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.and the entire citizens of Abia State on this irreparable and tragic loss.
