Umuahia – Dr Alex Chioma Otti, the governor of Abia State has fired his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kazie Uko.
This was disclosed by Okey Kanu, the Commissioner for Information to newsmen after the State Executive Council meeting chaired by the governor on Wednesday.Though, no reason was given for his sack.
Meanwhile, Kalu Ukoha Kalu has been appointed as his replacement.Okey Kanu who announced Kalu Ukoha Kalu as the new Chief Press Secretary to the governor said, ”Gov. Alex Otti in a bid to rejig the media ecosystem of his administration has approved the appointment of a new Chief Press Secretary and his name is Mr Ukoha Njoku Ukoha.
“Mr Ukoha brings a lot of experience in advocacy and media management and of course his flair for writing to his new job.”Gentlemen of the press you will be working with the new Chief Press Secretary in the days ahead.”
