GOV. NWIFURU’S TWEET PLAYING ‘NCHỌ’ WITH HIS OLD VILLAGE PALS GETS MIXED REACTIONS

A tweet by Rt. Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Ebonyi State Governor, showing himself playing ‘nchọ’, an indigenous draughts like game with his old pals at Abakiliki has elicited mixed reactions from netizens.

Whereas many commended him for his humility and reconnecting with his roots, some asked him to touch the lives of those his old pals, apart from “playing nchọ with them for photo ops”.

However one looks at it, it is commendable that #FON had time to keep ‘His Excellency’ aside and connect to his roots. That is SPLENDID!
