Awka: Latest news available to hoo!haa!! indicate that Former Anambra State First Lady, Chief Mrs Ebele Obiano, Osodieme has jetted out of the state through the Umueri Airport, in the aftermath of the “Farewell Slap” she received from Iyom Bianca Ojukwu, widow of Biafran Generallisimo, Ikemba Emeka Ojukwu and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Spain.
Most online commentators blamed Mrs Obiano for the unfortunate breach of protocol. Instead of being seated before the arrival of the Incoming Governor, as demanded by protocol, she after the Governor had been sworn in and was signing necessary documents.
Yet, rather than quietly taking her seat, she went straight to Bianca, launching volley upon volley of verbal missiles on the Former Beauty Queen, using such X rated words as “Bitch” and “Ashawo” severally.
Eventually, that earned a befitting dirty “Farewell Slap” from the more agile Bianca, who had been very busy in the gym recently and would have torn her apart, if not for the prompt intervention of security operatives and other guests.
Instead of Osodieme, which means one who joins her husband in doing great deeds, her critics referred to as “Osodietipiaku” meaning one who joins her husband in squandering wealth owing to her squandermania.
She is used to ostentatiousness, the most outstanding case being her donning of a designer Gucci sunglasses for N995, 992.50.
She was irked by Governor Soludo’s scalding but well deserved comment that “those who were at the event to make trouble should leave, that everyone was welcome at the event” in obvious reference to Mrs Obiano’s verbal attack on Iyom Bianca Ojukwu, asking her why she attended the event.
To worsen matters, her husband, the Former Governor, Chief Willie Willie Obiano ignored her completely.
