ENUGU WEST NEEDS DENNIS AMADI, AN ACCOMPLISHED PARLIAMENTARIAN AS SENATOR, NOT A NEOPHYTE LIKE THE PDP CANDIDATE – DR NWOKEABIA

Enugu– The Deputy Governorship candidate of Labour Party , LP in Enugu State, Dr John Nwokeabia has asserted that Enugu West Senatorial District needs “an accomplished parliamentarian like Rt. Hon. Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi as Senator, not a neophyte like the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP”
Dr Nwokeabia, an Achi born industrialist and astute politician made the assertion last week at Aguobu Owa, Ezeagu LGA during Amadi’s senatorial campaign rally which witnessed a huge turnout of party loyalists and other of Amadi, who is currently a ranking member of the House of Representatives representing Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency.
According to him, “The Red Chamber which is made up of hundred and nine Members representing about two hundred Million People requires men with the right experience and connection to function properly and bring about quality results for the Constitueny he represents and not a place for Political neophyte like the Ruling Party in Enugu has endorsed a business man as their candidate”
He went further to describe the Federal legislator as a blessing to Enugu West Senatorial District, considering his achievements while representing Ezeagu/UDI federal Constitueny with verifiable records.
His effort during the COVID 19 to ensure that many members of his constituency benefited from the federal government Palliatives earned him the nick name “Alert Master” with his track records as a former banker and Member appropriation Committee in the lower Chamber has given him an edge over any other Candidate to be able navigate the Red Chamber unhindered knowing how to negotiate and bring about quality results for Constitueny instead of going into the Chamber to become a Bench warmer and learning the basics of lawmaking for the next four years.

Dr Nwokeabia concluded with his observations that each time the labour Party campaigns in any part of Ezeagu/UDI that loud Ovations rents the air as soon as Rt Hon Amadi’s name is mentioned, indicating that he has been able to bring about quality representation while at the Green Chamber.
The Chairman, LP in Nenwe Ward 3, Hon Chris Ike equally described Hon Amadi as “God’s answer to the prayers of Enugu West people, who were seriously searching for another experienced parliamentarian, who could fill the void left by the exit of Senator Ike Ekweremadu, a great son of Aninri and Enugu West from the Senate, after twenty years of achievements and unassailable records”.

“Besides, “Alert Master”, Oguerinwa Amadi endeared himself to the people of Aninri and other parts of Old Awgu Division like Awgu and Oji River LGAs by ensuring that both those from Udi/Ezeagu as well as those from Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituencies felt the impact of his “bank alert”, especially during the height of the COVID Pandemic.
“Moreover, this is the time to pay him back for the total support he gave to Senator Ekweremadu, our brother and his political mentor”.
The emergence of the PDP candidate in the Enugu West Senatorial District election, Hon Engr Osita Ngwu, popularly known to his teeming supporters as “RG”, was hailed by many due to his accomplishments as an engineer and an industrialist.
However, the jury is still out to decipher who the people of the zone shall choose between the more experienced Rt Hon Oguerinwa Amadi and the more youthful Hon Engr Osita Ngwu.
