ENUGU STATE FORUM OF PDP WARD CHAIRMEN HAILS UGWUANYI OVER PEACEFUL CONDUCT OF PRIMARIES AHEAD OF LG POLLS
Enugu: Ward Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State have extolled the democratic credentials of the Enugu State Governor, His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi over the peaceful and harmonious conduct of the recently conducted party primaries ahead of the forthcoming Local Government elections in the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by Ozo Ejike Okpe, Chairman, Enugu State Forum of PDP Ward Chairmen on Friday.
The statement reads:
“The PDP Ward Chairmen in Enugu State, under the aegis of Enugu State Forum of PDP Ward Chairmen, hereby, thank, celebrate and appreciate our leader, the leader of the PDP in Enugu State, the leader of the PDP in the South East and the best Governor in Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, and the PDP stakeholders, for the exemplary, peaceful and harmonious approach towards the arrival at concencus PDP candidates across the seventeen LGAs of Enugu State, preparatory to the February, 2022, Local Government elections in the state.
Your Excellency, your approach which has deepened the lasting peace and stability in our great party and Enugu State in general, is only another eloquent testimony of your commitment to peace, tranquility and peaceful co-existence and your mastery of conflict resolution and management.
While we align ourselves in toto with all your decisions and concencus regarding our LG and Councillorship elections, we wish to restate our unalloyed, unshakable and absolute loyalty to your person and office.
Your Excellency, we, hereby, urge you to go to sleep with your two eyes closed regarding the forthcoming LG elections, as we shall go the extra-miles to ensure victory for all our candidates across the 260 wards and 17 LGAs during the February, 2022, LG elections and beyond.
We did it before and we shall do it again.
We also join millions of the good people of Enugu State in congratulating our flag bearers in the forthcoming Councillorship and Chairmanship elections across the state.
