Abakaliki: An Abakaliki based political activist and a promoter of the Presidential campaign of Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP Presidential flag bearer, Comrade Sam Bright has accused men of the Nigerian Police Force of forcefully dispersing the Abakaliki Obidient Clean Up exercise on Saturday.
Recall that the South East Director of Mobilization of the Coalition for Peter Obi Support Groups, CPO, Fr Obi Mmaduabuchi in consonance with all Peter Obi Support Groups in the region had scheduled a Clean Up exercise to hold in all the five states of the South East simultaneously.
However, Sam Bright, one of the arrow heads of the Abakaliki event complained of the Nigerian Police Force preventing them from holding the clean up through a statement on his official Twitter account SAMBRIGHT_Jnr @Sambright_jr
“We were dispersed and forced to stop the OBI-dient Clean up rally in Abakaliki by the men of the Nigerian Police Force.
They came with up to 7 pickup vans and were armed.
Though no harm but dey forced us to leave the venue, collect ected my phone and deleted the videos I recorded.
They stopped us from staying at Udensi roundabout,which was our starting point, we met at Presco Flyover and they came too and chased everyone.
