COMMUNITY VIGILANTES SHOULD COMPLEMENT ESN – IPOB commends Nnewi, Onitsha Vigilantes

The Leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has commended Nnewi and Onitsha cities for setting up community vigilantes, stating that such was necessary so as to complement IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN).
Kanu made this assertion while delivering a speech on Radio Biafra International, monitored by hoo!haa!! News.
According to the IPOB leader, “Nnewi and Onitsha vigilantes were necessary to curb crimes being perpetrated by criminals who took advantage of the absence of policemen to wreack havoc while ESN was in the forest chasing Fulani terrorists”
Kanu urged the community vigilantes to work with the ESN, so as to complement their efforts.
“Nnewi and Onitsha (community) vigilantes should focus on fighting crimes in their cities while ESN is in the forest, focusing on the Fulani terrorists”
Analysts see this as a welcome development, after Kanu’s earlier condemnation of Onitsha community vigilante.
