Awka: Chief Olisa Metuh, Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), whose corruption case by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was quashed by the Appeal Court, after spending some time in prison custody is in the news again!
Dr Godwin Maduka, the Accord Party candidate in the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship Election has petitioned the EFCC, accusing Metuh of demanding and collecting from him him the sum of N65M and a Mercedes G Class car with the assurance of securing the Governorship ticket of the PDP for him at the party’s Anambra State Governorship Election primaries.
In the petition cited by hoo!haa!! News, Maduka is asking the anti graft agency to “use her good office to investigate the case, and thereafter, recover from Mr. Metuh, whose antecedents in money laundering and other racketeering activities are well known to the public, his money and car”
