Rufai Oseni, the fiery presenter of The Morning Show, Arise TV’s current affairs program,on this Friday morning’s edition of the program, described the absence of Engr Seyi Makinde, the Oyo State Governor at the zonal Presidential of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as “a big slap “ on the face of the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
According to Oseni, loved by many for his blunt and fearless approach towards drilling guests on the prime time program, “ No matter what the PDP say, Makinde’s absence is a big slap on Atiku’s face.
“However, the issue is how Makinde and the PDP wil manage the situation in Oyo State given the fact that the state has a strong opposition, both from the APC and the Accord Party”
Recall that Atiku Abubakar, while speaking at the Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the venue of the presidential campaign, commended Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo, for ensuring that the rally is “well organised”.
However, Oseni said that “there is fire on the mountain” for the PDP in Oyo State”, regardless of PDP’s attempts at downplaying the obvious.
