BREAKING! HON IGWE, SERVING REPS MEMBER ARRESTED IN PORT HARCOURT WITH $500,000 HE CLAIMS HE COLLECTED FROM ATIKU TO RIG ELECTION
Port Harcourt – A serving member of the House of Representatives, Hon Chinyere Igwe has been arrested early this Friday morning in Port Harcourt, Rivers State with $500,000 cash which he claimed to have received from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubakar for purposes of rigging the election.
This was revealed in a tweet by obi -west utchaychukwu @obi-west.

“Hon. Chinyere Igwe (Member House of Representatives) was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning in Port Harcourt with over ($500,000.00) which he claimed was given to him by @atiku to ensure his electoral success in Rivers State. #ChinyereIgwe#PDP”
A list of the 23 LGAs in Rivers State meant to be used for disbursement of the money was also recovered from him.
There are speculations that he was arrested based on information from a whistleblower loyal to the Rivers State Governor and Leader of G-5, Nyesom Wike, who has been engaged in a running battle with his party’s presidential candidate, Alh Atiku Abubakar.
