Enugu – The Enugu State 2023 Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal is set to commence with inaugural sitting/ pre-hearing session scheduled to hold this Friday, 17th May, 2023 at the Enugu State High Court Complex opposite WAEC Office Independence Layout,Enugu.
That signals a commencement of the much awaited legal fireworks between the legal teams of the key protagonists in the March 12th Governorship Election in Enugu State namely those of Barr Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party, LP, as apellant and Barr. Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as defendant.
With that, the battle for the control of Lion Building, the state’s seat of power moves to the courts.
