BREAKING! EEDC RESTORES SUPPLY TO ENUGU, OTHER PARTS OF S’EAST FOLLOWING SYSTEM COLLAPSE

Enugu: Power supply has just been restored to Enugu and some other parts of the South East, following the system collapse, announced earlier today by the EEDC.

Around, 4.15pm,this evening, Power was restored to Enugu metropolis following reception of supply by the New Haven, TCN Station.

Earlier, Emeka Ezeh, Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC had issued a statement stating that the “region wide” system collapse was being addressed with the TCN stations at Nibo and Awada receiving supply.

“This is to inform you that after the system collapse earlier today, 26th September, 2022, two of our interface TCN Stations at Nibo and Awada received supply at 12.36pm and 12:37pm respectively, with a directive by NCC to maintain only 7MW.

We are still on standby, hoping that full and normal supply will be restored to all other interface TCN stations.
