BIAFRAN AGITATION SHOULD BE THROUGH THE BALLOT BOX – APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, EDOZIE NJOKU

Abuja – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Edozie Njoku has asserted that the Biafran agitation should be pursued through a political process.

Njoku, whose position was affirmed last week after his name was listed on the website of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), following a protracted legal tussle, made the assertion while speaking as a guest on Kakaaki, AIT’s current affairs program, this Friday morning.

“This is my personal opinion, the party hasn’t met over the issue.

“All over the world, power comes from the ballot box. They should form a political party for all those who share their belief and get elected representatives to push for their demands.

On APGA’s participation in the forthcoming Edo State Governorship Election, he said, “I have told our people that we have to be careful. You know the APGA candidate in the Edo State Governorship Election – Dr Osifo was elected by the “other side”.

“Now, we have to embrace everyone. We need to work together, bring our strengths together for the advancement of the party”
