APWEN ENUGU VISITS GRACE EZEMA, NIGERIA’S 1ST FEMALE ENGINEER TO FELICITATE WITH HER ON HER FELLOWSHIP

Enugu: A team of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria, Enugu Chapter led by their Chairman Engr. Dr. Cecilia Igbonakalum Okafor, MNSE paid a Courtesy Visit on 27th May, 2022, to the First Female Engineer in Nigeria, Engr. Mrs Grace Ezema, FNSE, in her Enugu residential home, to know how she is doing and also to congratulate her on the Fellowship Award of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
Mrs Ezema was the Pioneer Chairman of APWEN Enugu Chapter. On seeing the APWEN delegation, she was full of joy and after exchanging pleasantries, Rev. Sis Engr. Mary Valentina Okeke said the opening prayer. We discussed generally on her contribution to Engineering as being the first Lady Engineer in Nigeria. She was highly applaud by APWEN members for her achievements.
Engr. Dr. Cecilia Igbonakalum Okafor, MNSEChairman, APWEN Enugu Chapter, earlier in her speech, informed Mrs Ezema that they came to felicitate with her on her remarkable achievements, especially her recent conferment of the Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, FNSE.
Also, the APWEN delegation, informed her, about her forth coming Biannual Lecture. They were served with some refreshment to crown the memorable and pleasant evening. The closing prayer was said by Rev. Sis. Engr. Valentina Okeke, MNSE.
