Enugu: The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Enugu State, Mr. Frank Nweke Jr, has urged Ndi Enugu to join hands with him in liberating the state from the shackles of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’S bad governance, in line with the president ncople of shared prosperity as espoused by Dim Emeka Ojukwu, a founding father of the party.

The former Nigerian minister of Information made this charge on Friday while addressing traders at Ogbete and Afia 9 markets, to take ownership of the next government in Enugu by voting massively for APGA in the forthcoming election.

Nweke who told the traders that APGA’s mission was to liberate the State from the shackles of bad governance brought by the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), reiterated the history of APGA as one founded on the Igbo principle of shared prosperity with the great Odumegwu Ojukwu as a founding father.

While responding to some of the issues raised, Nweke decried absence of potable water, rising insecurity, non-payment of salaries and pensions, unavailability of jobs and the deepening economic crisis under the PDP-led administration.

He assured the traders of his administration’s commitment to tackle issues that directly affect them and urged them to become a part of the process by ensuring that they refuse to sell their votes to those who have looted their future.

“When you sell your votes, you have given looters your own position in the government and you will lose your voice for the next four years. It is your turn to be in government.

“APGA will make the government house the People’s Building”he said.
