AJUDUA, ALLEGED SERIAL FRAUDSTER TO APPEAR BEFORE ABUJA HIGH COURT ON CASE OF FORGERY AND WRONGFUL ACQUISITION OF IGBUZOR COMMUNAL LAND
Chief Fred Chijindu Ajudua, an alleged serial fraudster is set to be arraigned before an Abuja High Court on Tuesday, 25th January, 2022 over allegations of forgery.
From the charge sheet obtained by our correspondent, Ajudua, a man described by Wikipedia as “a Nigerian accused of being an advanced fee fraud scammer”, was accused of “forging signature on a power of attorney dated 25th November, 2009 and deed of conveyance in respect of landed property by Airport road, Ibusa, Delta State knowing it to be false with the intent that it will be used or acted upon”
Currently, Ajudua seems to be fighting battles on all fronts. At the home front, in his hometown, Ibusa(Igbuzor), Delta State, he is neck deep in communal crisis with his alleged plan to unseat Dr Tony Nwankwo Nwaezeigwe, the exiled Odogwu of Igbuzor from office.
According to sources conversant with Igbuzor communal politics, Ajudua sees that as a necessary step towards unseating HRM Obi Chelunor Nwoboshi, the Obuzor (paramount ruler) of Igbuzor.
On the other side, he is facing a plethora of criminal court actions bordering on fraud.
His ongoing trial for before Justice Josephine Oyefeso of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ajah, Lagos for allegedly obtaining money to the tune of $8.4m is just an example.
Ajudua allegedly defrauded a former Chief of Army Staff, Ishaya Bamaiyi, of $8.4m, while they both were in Kirikiri Prison, Lagos in 2004 for different offences.
Ajudua, alongside his accomplices, had allegedly approached Bamaiyi and convinced him that he could hire the legal services of Chief Afe Babalola, SAN, at the cost of $8.4m to help secure his release.
