ADC ENDORSES LP’S OBI AS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE



Abuja – Few days to the February 25th presidential polls in Nigeria, the Presidential bid of Mr. Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP has received a major boost, following the African Democratic Congress, ADC as the party’s candidate.
The ADC is the 3rd largest political party in Nigeria before the entrance of Peter Obi into the Labour Party.The endorsement came on the heels of a grand Coalition for Obi/Datti Presidency resulting in the Star Alliance.
The star alliance partners are: Nigeria Mothers for Good Governance, Fulani United, Nigeria Artisans, League of Imams, Nigeria Traders, Yoruba United, Mega Political Coalition, Kanuris United, Almalgamated Coalitions, CEG Groups and Nigeria Legions United.

This comes as a surprise to some pundits since ADC has its own presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu. However, the party stated that they endorsed Obi based on competence and in the national interest based on his unimpeachable track record.
